Giveaways are one of the best and quickest ways to Build Your List.   But, as with everything else, there is a right and wrong way to participate.

They have been around for some time, but to begin with the only people who were asked to contribute were those who had large subscriber bases, which meant that the person who was just starting out was not able to participate. But this is now changing in that everyone is invited to participate with their gift being placed higher up the more people who subscribe to the promotion through their affiliate link.   Read the rest of this entry »

The first thing he said that to be established was that he was talking about  putting comments on other peoples blogs and using them for advertising purposes.

Keyword Research is paramount when you are doing this. You have to see:

  1. What keywords people are using
  2. What the competition is.

On Day 3 we were reminded that when we placed ads we should not expect anyone to answer them, as there were too many people placing classified ads press releases etc.   The aim was to get the Search Engine Spiders to note that our name and  web site were all over the internet and that a lot of high ranking web sites had backlinks to our site. On Day 2 Ben said that before doing anything we had to:

GET THE BIG PICTURE

He said that children were taught maths before being given a calculator, as this ensured that they knew how they worked.   In the same way we have to go out join the programs where we want to place classified ads, press releases, etc.    On Day 6 of the 15 Day Plan we are advised to join Craigslist, YouTube and one of the Social Networking sites, the one mentioned is hi5, but during the training we were told to choose similar forms of advertising.
